The Staff of Life

Johnny was walking down the street carrying a loaf of bread in one hand, and the other hand was in his pocket. The minister, walking in the opposite direction, said to Johnny as he approached him, 'I see you have the staff of life in your hand, what do you have in the other?' Johnny said 'a loaf of bread.'
